Hello everyone,

I've been enjoying these beautiful fall days and getting very excited for the Project Acoustic events coming up in the next couple of weeks. In addition to the big show on November 11th, there is a pre-event, the New Talent Showcase being held Saturday, November 5th at the D Note. If you are interested in playing, SUBMISSIONS ARE STILL BEING ACCEPTED to play, with one of the performing acts having the opportunity to OPEN AT THE SOILED DOVE on the 11th! And if you want to hear some great new, local talent, come on down as well. It's open to the public, free, and remember the D Note has great pizza and drinks!

And of course there is the main event - Project Acoustic at the Soiled Dove. Five amazing acts on one bill: the Raven and the Writing Desk, The Hollyfelds, Landon Smith and Glowing House. Plus Haley will be back in town, so we'll be playing an "I'm With Her" set.

One last note - Carlos our drummer is turning 40! A birthday bash including ASBW will be playing Benders this Saturday (today!) with a huge line up. Come on down and wish Carlos a happy birthday.
