My new side project "I'm With Her" has been super busy promoting our Kickstarter campaign which has  only 9 days left! We need your help in spreading the word - every last penny helps! <br> <br> We are trying to fund all of the costs of this record called "Hang Among The Stars", which includes studio costs, musician fees, pressing of the actual CDs, artwork, photography and any promotion like tours or radio promotion. I know many people spend up to $25,000 or more but we are going to do this for $7,500! We are almost halfway there so PLEASE help and thank you in advance:) <br> <br> This will be the only new music that I will be working on for the summer so we are ready to make this happen. Angie Stevens Newsletter - Project Acoustic Denver this Friday, Fort Collins on Saturday

<p>(Since the shows this weekend are for "I'm With Her", I thought I'd have Haley write her very first newsletter. Now don't be disappointed if she isn't as quirky as I am- where quirky leaves off talent begins:) lol. We are so ridiculously excited for this weekend- I REALLY hope you don't miss it! - Angie) </p><p>Well, though I feel like there's a lot to live up to here, I'm going to give this the ol' college try. </p><p>As Angie mentioned, I finally made the move to Colorado this past Friday and I am anxious to see what new opportunities and experiences present themselves. Obviously, this means that "I'm With Her" can finally become a fully operational project, which is something both Angie and I are thrilled about! In the 3 days I've been here, we've been busy writing, practicing, recording and trying to find solutions to all worldly problems. The first three have been successful. I hope you are as excited as we are to see and hear the results of the journey (thus far) that has been "I'm With Her". </p><p>In fact, we are very excited to kick off this new endeavor this Friday at an event that has been a great undertaking for Boss Koala Records and Stage Fish Entertainment - Project Acoustic Denver. </p><p>The show will feature performances by local artists The Raven and the Writing Desk, Glowing House, The Hollyfelds, Landon Smith and I'm With Her. Opening the show will be Denver singer/songwriter Micki McNie. Micki was the winner of the Project Acoustic New Talent Showcase held this past Saturday at the D-Note. Four incredible and unique acts competed in the contest on Saturday and a panel of celebrity judges chose Micki based on her lyrics, technical skills and overall performance. I, for one, am super excited to see the great local music Denver has to offer! The show, again is this Friday, Nov. 11th at the Soiled Dove. Angie Stevens Newsletter - a chance to play the Soiled Dove, Project Acoustic

<p>Hello everyone, </p><p>I've been enjoying these beautiful fall days and getting very excited for the Project Acoustic events coming up in the next couple of weeks. In addition to the big show on November 11th, there is a pre-event, the New Talent Showcase being held Saturday, November 5th at the D Note. If you are interested in playing, SUBMISSIONS ARE STILL BEING ACCEPTED to play, with one of the performing acts having the opportunity to OPEN AT THE SOILED DOVE on the 11th! And if you want to hear some great new, local talent, come on down as well. It's open to the public, free, and remember the D Note has great pizza and drinks! </p><p>And of course there is the main event - Project Acoustic at the Soiled Dove. <p>Hello Everybody!!!<br/> Fall is almost here and I couldn't be more excited. Not only does this weather makes me want to sip hot cider, take long naps, watch football and listen to the leaves fall- It's also a PERFECT time to be writing, recording and playing. A few months back a teacher from RHMS informed me that his class was going to be producing music videos to Angie Stevens songs and he asked if I would at all be interested in being in doing a music video with them. Of course i jumped at the idea- and with that the contest was born. He sent me 13 videos of 6 different AS songs and we picked the top 4. Now we need YOU to vote for which group will be doing a video with me!! These videos are not only precious but also quite impressive. I was blown away at their interpretations and am really proud of all of them!!! I got to go in last week and meet the kids as well as play a few- they were awesome! A HUGE thanks to RHMS for this experience!! Project Acoustic started in Albuquerque, NM and now has a sister show in Denver, CO. The short story is there will be incredible music of different genres coming together- (Hollyfelds, Raven and the Writing Desk, Glowing House, Landon Smith.. oh and I'm With Her), an amazing venue- Soiled Dove Underground, an awesome cause- Youth on Record and Flobots.org. There will also free cds, and even pre party events that we will be announcing in a few weeks. Rydell (from the Johnson Family Band) and I have been in a whirlwind of practice, photo shoots and shows all for the release of the I'm With Her EP. We have our official release at Swallow Hill this Friday and really hope you can make it! (Tickets are cheaper in advance, so get yours today!) We'll have new merch available as well as special guests Monica Sales, Susan Phelan and Robin Hoch sitting in on stage with us.
