Project Acoustic started in 2010 with rave reviews showcasing some of the most talented musicians and is considered the premiere event of its kind — a celebration of musicians in their rawest form-unplugged.

The vision is simple: To raise awareness of music appreciation while integrating charitable efforts for local music programs.

This year in Denver, we are adding a "New Talent Showcase", highlighting up and coming acts and musicians, all in an intimate, acoustic setting. Selected musicians will perform live at the D Note on November 5th, with one act being selected to open the Project Acoustic Main Event being held at the Soiled Dove on Friday, November 11th.

All genres and styles of music are eligible, as long as the music can be performed "unplugged".

When you click on the Submit button below, you will be taken to the online submission page, where you will be asked to provide some background information, and to upload up to three (3) songs, as well as an optional link to a video of a live performance. Remember - we are looking for great new talent, so polished videos are not necessary, as long as we can see what you have to offer, i.e. sitting in from of a video camera and playing a song is perfect!

We will be accepting submissions through Sunday, October 30th. The fee for submitting is $15.

Musicians selected for the New Talent Showcase will be notified no later than Tuesday, November 1st. The act chosen to open for the November 11th Project Acoustic show will be announced at the end of the New Talent Showcase.

A minimum of 2 acts will be chosen for the New Talent Showcase through this submission process. There is no monetary compensation for participating acts, however your name and info will be used as part of Project Acoustic promotions.
